2021 BFA Thesis Exhibition

The BFA curation team is made up of four graduation seniors, and the head of the ICA Gallery at the Maine College of Art. Ana Garcia, Zoe Dieffenbach, Paisley D’Alessandro, and I curated the works of our fellow graduates into the thesis show. Over the five months, we worked together to build a show, accessible to students and families even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through interviews, meetings, sketches, and plenty of ideas, we decided on Terrains as it embodied both the work and the times we were living in. The final work lived on to be an installation in the lobby, signage both street-facing and within the building, a takeaway map, and a page on the MECA archival website.
